<div dir="ltr"><div>Good Afternoon,</div><div><br></div><div>Interesting event.</div><div><br></div><div>Diesel boat refueling at he dock.  One person is pumping fuel and the other three are on the boat smoking.  A club member, not the staff person, asks them to stop smoking while the refueling is in progress.  The member feels that the staff should have stopped the smoking.  HOWEVER....</div><div><br></div><div>Look at #19 of the house and dock rules.  When a diesel boat is refueling (unlike gas) it&quot;s only RECOMMENDED that the passengers get off the boat.  Also, smoking is ONLY restricted ON THE FUEL DOCK or in the dock house.</div><div><br></div><div>This is interesting from a safety standpoint, but the way the rule is written, I would have a hard time counseling he dock staff.</div><div><br></div><div>Food for thought as we move down the road.....</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div><br></div><div>Glenn</div><div><br></div></div>
