<div dir="ltr">I am in the same "Boat" as Scott. I don't see the problem with a Member waiting to get a slip to then buy a boat. My family actually did this exact thing, waited until we got a slip and then purchased the boat that would fit in the slip.

<div>The crux of this is that people want to select a slip not owning a boat, and they have over a year to put one in it. It was felt that members with a boat ready to use it is more appropriate. Trust me, we can do nothing and leave it as is. The request was for some wording to possibly tighten up the present policy.</div>

As much as many would like nothing more than to have their boats in as early as possible, there are unfortunately times when life doesn\u2019t permit a boat taking priority. </div>
