Time is of the essence. I had several discussions and visit with Duncan Mellor P.E. Principal Costal Engineer from Tighe & Bond regarding the PYC Pier.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">This memo requests permission to engage the services of Tighe & Bond to provide an engineering scope of work for the PYC pier to determine what\u2019s required to be replaced and or repaired, and conduct a load capacity of the pier. The cost of this engineering analysis is $2,500<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Duncan and I further discussed the NHDES wetland permit expiring in February 2019, and may have a possible way of doing the work without going through a new NHDES permit process. The new permit should be a 25 day review process by NH DES after submission. We need the attached scope of work before applying for the permit.<o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Please review the attached and grant me approval by Sunday Evening November 4<sup>th</sup>.
