and certainly should not be offended by Jerry's kind <u>offer</u>
(not an ultimatum) to stay on to assist in training someone
entirely new the following year. It is my understanding no offers
have been made to Frieda or Mike as yet so we really don't know
if they will be accepting, demanding or otherwise. Frankly, I
think the inmates are restless at this point not knowing where
they stand. And with regard to Frieda amassing an enormous
paycheck, since we have potentially so many dockhands (at lower
rates of pay), simply reduce the time Frieda spends on the dock by
the amount of training time she needs (probably very little;
what's the big deal?). Let's make an offer to these people and
then see whether they are boxing us into a corner (which I doubt;
I think they feel they have a pretty good deal at the club), or
let them walk.<br>

interesting so far, in that we have had significant personnel
changes to deal with, and we are also trying to get the salary

the plan that was voted on was certainly accomplished in a

that fits into that category is one that I made, not the
board, so I disagree that the BOD has been reactionary. Plus,
a lot of the issues that we are dealing with have been pushed
down the road in the past, and I thank this BOD for stepping
up and taking action.</div>
<div>Enough of my banter. I will await further feedback, and
this issue will be on the next meeting agenda. We still have
time for either plan to play out.</div>
