The first example is our reaction to the Steward\u2019s information that the Dockmaster would \u201cwalk\u201d if he didn\u2019t receive $20/hr. Without even talking to the Dockmaster about his reported demand we gave the Dockmaster what he demanded! The second example is that while we have voted to advertise for a new Steward, it now appears we are going to once again change our plans and accept Freida as the \u201cSteward in training\u201d so that our Steward will retire at the end of the year as he advised us that he would do! Once again, we have not talked to Freida with regard to her compensation or her availability to fully function as our present Steward functions.<o:p></o:p></div>
