I think we should order a 36\u201d one right away. If it doesn\u2019t work, we can always use it somewhere else. The beauty of these is that the chain comes through the top of the float, so there\u2019s little chance that the pennant will get cut by a prop. It rests in the buoy when it\u2019s not in use (and remains free of growth) and it has a place for a pickup buoy. I think we should put a plan in place to replace all the mooring buoys with these, particularly in Pepperell cove. The town has painted their buoys green, so we need a clear way to differentiate ours from theirs.
