<DIV>The easy answer to your question of timing is that is what the Constitution
states (Art. XII) I suspect the 2 month \u201cgrace\u201d period was put in place to
accommodate \u201cSnow Birds\u201d postal woes. Also during periods of low member count it
gave reluctant renewing members time to consider the error of their ways (we
needed the money!) I would agree that some invoices get put aside and forgotten,
we did so ourselves about 15 years ago. I got a call from Brooks Kennedy (BOD
member) in the dark of night to remind me. Any change to current policy would
require a Constitutional change at Annual Meeting. This can certainly be a
subject for discussion by the BOD.</DIV>

had discussed calling recalcitrant members and failed to follow up (my error) I
suggest we cut the now eager payers some slack and not invoke the Constitutional
remedy in haste! If there are no objections I suggest we accept the payments
from all those 2010 members who have given a positive response to Carole\u2019s calls
regarding 2011 dues.</DIV>
