I was not given specific names, but can confirm that this has happened. I'm recommending that people take whatever steps they think appropriate, and I will provide any further updates that I hear. Rumors are definitely flying. Unfortunately, I have tested positive. I heard that Lisa Stern tested positive this morning but she would not have been exposed at the club. I was clearly sick by Monday morning. The problem is rumors are flying. Laurie Clark told a member that she had been exposed which the rumor mill turned Into “she has Covid.” How should this be handled? Coincidentally, Anne and Mike Coffey cancelled Mexican night scheduled for Wednesday May 25 because only 39 people signed up. They have rescheduled for Friday July 8, 2022. The only other event in May is Memorial Day brunch on May 30. Anyone exposed at the opening dinner should be all clear by May 26. Things need to be explained to the membership at this point and not use anything that sounds like “many people” etc. I only know about me and Lisa Stern. I think the Commodore should comment with a personal note. He is so much more articulate than me. Thoughts?
