All,
I don't believe my attachment (spreadsheet) was actually sent with my email response to Whit's BOD input sent earlier.  It's attached again here (along with my email content) sent this morning,

Attached please see the spreadsheet I created as part of my staffing project last year.  I have noted (in red) some of the areas we might consider for PYC operations.  Specifically, database and software use for both tracking and member involvement of club activities (including work parties and social events) is noteworthy.  Some of you may already have this spreadsheet.  I'm thinking that as part of a new member's duties, they should be required to host / manage at least one club event during their first two years of membership.  This is mandated at Camden Yacht Club, and encouraged at both Arundle (Kennebunkport), and Northport (Belfast, ME).  A similar policy would greatly assist the VC in annual event(s) planning, and could be added to the "new member" indoctrination.
