Dear Members,

                It's not too late to show your appreciation to our staff!
The staff appreciation box is in the main entrance for your convenience if
you would like to show your appreciation for jobs well done!
                  Thank you to all who filled out the short questionnaire
sent out a few weeks ago.
The information was very helpful in aiding the BOD's determinations that
there is enough interest in attending the Annual Meeting and there is not
enough interest to move forward with social event planning.

                  The Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 8,
2020, at 7:00 PM at the Wentworth Country Club, Pavilion building.  The
survey results indicated that there are more members willing to attend the
Annual Meeting in a large, indoor space with appropriate measures, than the
number required for a quorum.    The event space is huge and can
accommodate more than the number needed for a quorum with social
distancing, masks required, and a commercially cleaned space prior to the
meeting.  The Pavillion is a brand new venue with high end amenities; a
commercial grade sound system, in-floor heating, and large rest rooms.
                       The BOD intends to keep the meeting as short as
possible to limit the time spent inside to a minimum.  Distribution of *all
the reports will be sent by email * prior to the meeting.  There will be a
chance to ask questions if the committee chair is present.  If not present,
questions will be taken for publication with the answers after the
meeting.  You will be receiving the Annual Meeting information packet in
advance of the meeting by mail as usual.

                       All events in September, and for the rest of
the year, have been cancelled due to the survey results showing there was
not enough interest to host a social function at the Club with over 60% of
the respondents indicating they had no intentions of attending any events.
Similarly, the uncertainties the Fall and Winter may bring determined that
the holiday gatherings are also cancelled.

                       As the weather turns cooler and the sun sets
earlier, the hours of operation on the docks and launch are also
shortening.  Please keep up with these changes on FaceBook, the PYC
website, or by calling ahead to check with the dock staff.
