[Board] Portsmouth Yacht Club ~ New Member Update

Dear New Members,

             Welcome Aboard! On behalf of the Board of Directors, Officers,
current members and staff of the Portsmouth Yacht Club, we are glad you
have joined PYC.  We look forward to normalizing our operations as soon as
possible in order to meet you and get the remaining season underway!

             Since none of us know exactly when that will be or what that
will look like (and all of us know it will be different) it seems
unnecessary to go through any formal new member orientation at this time.
New and long-established members are all experiencing the same changes in
the Club's operations.

             With that in mind, there are three things I would ask you to
do to get prepared to enjoy your membership at PYC.

               Read the *Clubhouse and Docks Rules i*n the Portsmouth Yacht
Club Directory.
The BOD is trying to operate as much as possible within those established
rules and the guidance of state and local officials.  Knowing the *H&D
Rules* will be helpful going forward.  If you need a parking sticker, key
to the Clubhouse, locker assignment, name tag etc., please email our
Steward, Frieda Kat, at steward at portsmouthyc.org

              Stay informed. Keep up with the email notices and updates
that you receive.  These contain important information about the changing
operations of the Club.  Check out the PYC website where you will find more
information and topics of interest. Follow us on FaceBook and Instagram.

                Be reassured that the BOD is looking at ways to resume some
social functions as well as increase the services on the marina side.

I am looking forward to welcoming each of you personally to PYC.
