FYI from David McArdle which relates to our discussion last night. He iwill respond later to our request to see if we can get a date that public parking will open generally on the Island.

>> All New Castle residents and property owners, non-resident property owners and renters may have Great Island decals. These decals allow free vehicle admission to the Great Island Common and parking in areas around New Castle designated for "Permit Parking Only". Decals are available year round at the New Castle Town Hall. License plate registration numbers will be recorded on each Great Island decal. Decals must be permanently attached to the outside window on the driver's side of the vehicle.
>> Full time residents/property owners may have up to three (3) decals at no charge. For each decal residents are required to provide a copy of their vehicle registration which must be registered in their name and with the Town of New Castle. Additional decals for vehicles of resident/property owners may be purchased for $100.00.
>> Non-resident property owners may have one (1) decal at no charge. Non-residents are required to provide a copy of their vehicle registration which must be registered in their name. Additional decals for vehicles of non-resident property owners may be purchased for $100.00.
