Go To Meeting is preferred. I’m not sure how you feel about this, but if we have a quorum, it might make sense to be there as we make decisions. Please respond with a yes if you’re comfortable meeting at the Club in the downstairs with tables spread at least 6 feet apart, or no if you would not attend a meeting at the Club. Under these conditions at 6:30 on June 11. Agenda to follow. URL: From poko at comcast.net Sun Jun 7 21:03:02 2020 From: poko at comcast.net (PETER DAWSON) Date: Sun, 7 Jun 2020 23:03:02 -0400 (EDT) Subject: [Board] Mooring Insurance and 2020 Operations of Yacht Clubs in New England // P Dawson Message-ID: <1283589356.277835.1591585383441@connect.xfinity.com> All, 1. As asked, I have contacted several yacht clubs regarding insurance required of boaters for mooring use. Dave Kenepp requested that I provide results of this research, as he's planning to review it and make a proposal for the board. 2. I am also responding to a general request from Pat for information specific to other clubs' operations this season. My contacts at these clubs have provided information about their 2020 season. Attached are several documents (one already sent (the Laconia Sun article) that I want to ensure was received by each BOD member). My sources of information are each listed, along with contact information. I am expecting to be connected by conference call or GTM this Thursday, and I believe that inputs for additional use of the club by our members will be discussed. In the event that my electronic connection is disrupted, as it was in January (from St. Lucia), I would like to ensure that my personal thoughts regarding this subject are shared. Deck tables placed apart to honor spacing guidelines, with Frieda running a reservation schedule utilizing an Excel spreadsheet. She can carry a cell phone taking call-ins from members for specific time(s) at tables. This would be parallel to any (good) restaurant reservations system, and Frieda is well qualified and should be able to organize and manage a schedule. Administrative details surrounding such a plan would obviously need discussion by the board. With this system in place, members driving from distances wouldn't be excluded from deck space as could easily happen with a "first come, first serve" program. Be well all, Peter Please review my 3 attachments. I also want to provide a link to my final PYC pier construction video that I produced several months ago. I had intended to create a second chapter, but decided against its production.
