Here's the other (excellent) video conferencing program.  It's been well tested and used by companies of all sizes for both video, and audio-video conferencing.  I was once involved in a meeting with members from all over the world (as far away as Austrrailia).    One guy was actually driving on the highway in California during the conference!

Just jumping in here as I use Zoom and G2M all day every day.  The free
account of Zoom is great however you are limited to a 40-minute meeting.  I
have a Go to Meeting account that I am happy to use for the meeting if you
want.  There is a dial in option for voice only and a video option with
screen sharing.  The participant can choose how they want to join, Laptop,
Desktop, tablet, smartphone or regular landline.

Rose has a single instructor speaking to her class (using zoom).  It works great in that venue for her group.  I'm thinking that G2M is also nice as it allows an entire conference with video squares matrix(ed) on the display for each of the members signed in.
I don't recall how the interaction between members works in GTM however (who's talking, and how it's coordinated between those who are signed in).  I do remember that it worked well in multi-directional communications (round-table) discussions.
I'll be interested to hear how your meeting goes (Pat) using zoom (and as a possible avenue to take for our BOD mtg).

The meeting this morning with Zoom went well. It is an intuitive ap & I found it easy to use on my phone. I will use my desk top or laptop when document sharing in the future, though.

However, Jeremy’s suggestion (and offer to use his account, TY) to use GoToMeeting might make the meeting more accessible to all Board members who might not have access to Zoom.
I have not yet heard from everyone  about their ability to access Zoom but I’m sure all could phone in at a minimum.

I still plan to test the Zoom ap soon. Anyone up for a virtual cocktail hour conversation?

We are in this together and we’ll get through it together!

Pat,
I really liked your outgoing letter to the membership regarding the upcoming season, and its uncertainties.  It also provides an uplifting promise of good times at PYC and possibilities despite the ongoing issues.
My morning these days has me talking with good friends in Europe listening to their stories about life in Italy, France, Germany, Slovania, Russia, etc.   The airwaves are absolutely full of conversations, because most people are stuck inside.
This morning I was speaking with a friend living south of Rome (attached map), and he told of entire neighborhoods working together to get through their days huddled in small houses.  His radio is a great way for them to hear of outside world happenings, and much of their day is spent on the thing.
Here's a first release of the deck house install production.  The installation day was perfect with bright skies, and warm temps.  Take a look (all).  A PC with decent audio is best.
