I am simply offering this as a user-friendly option, and by no mean attempting to mange our BOD meeting. My first inclination was to hold our April meeting using this method, but it was not as efficient as I would like so I want to investigate other applications. I have a Zoom meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning and will evaluate that as a possibility for us to use. All indications are that it will be a good solution if every member has the capacity to use it. Please let me know if you can or have downloaded the Zoom app. I would want to have a trial run before the meeting. Also, if you are aware of another method or have another idea about how to conduct the next meeting, please share. Hoping this finds you all well & taking care of first things first. The woman has a "moderator" conferencing "title" that she obtained for running the meeting, and I'm sure you have a method to obtain that manager title. There is a numerical code that does not change from meeting to meeting. I'm not sure if there's a meeting time allocation for each session. Downloading the zoom application is simple, and I'd advise using a tablet (for screen size) rather than a cell phone. My guess is that Maggie is an expert a this entire application and its use. Also, I really doubt that all of the people attending any of our meetings have tablets ... I know I don't. But there DOES need to have a moderator and some "rules of participation" ... which we need to establish for just simple conference calls as well. I am waiting to hear from my friend who knows all about Zoom and is setting it up for one of my clients ... but can't guarantee he will get back to me in time for Pat's Wednesday meeting. -----Original Message----- From: PETER DAWSON Sent: Wednesday, March 25, 2020 2:44 PM To: Board of Directors ; P Dowey ; Maggie Fogel Subject: Re: [Board] April 9 Board Meeting Pat, Rose does this video conferencing every morning with an instructor.
