[Board] Kitchen instructions and Piling report

The cleaning instruction should include all utensils and silverware – eliminating the word staff. In the instruction remind everyone all food must be removed, the utensils put in the utensil rack, run through the sanitizer, dried put away. 

 

Before calling Pickering I want Duncan from Tighe & Bond  to look at the installation. This was done several years ago don’t know if something changed, or if we have any recourse.

Should the cleaning instructions say members are responsible for doing all utensils and silverware, not the staff.

 

Should we be call Pickering Riverside Marine, they installed the pilings ??

Here is a draft of the cleaning station instructions and I included a quick report on the piling issue we talked about back in the Spring. I realized I hadn’t done a formal report on it.

 

The other thing that is interesting is some people don’t always seem to know where the dirty glasses go.

 

We may want to update the “Dish Machine” instructions to say “Dish Sanitizer” and add in a line about it being a not being a dishwasher.

Was talking with one of the members and she suggested more instructions in the kitchen and making it clear on the dish machine that it is a sanitizer and posting more instructions about cleaning off the dishes and silverware before they go into the sanitizer. Also people being told the silverware is cleaned by the staff.
