[Board] Richard Blidberg - Update; Celebration of Life

Good morning, all.

As I'm sure many of you may be aware, my father unfortunately passed away
earlier this month after a tough - albeit brief - battle with cancer. While
it has been said by far too many folks on far too many occasions such as
this, it truly is a blessing that he is no longer in pain and can once
again be at peace.

Needless to say, it has been a whirlwind few months (and weeks especially)
and the kind words and support from many at PYC have been a great joy to
our family during these times.

In looking to honor him in the best way possible, our family was hopeful
that we might be able to arrange a time this fall to hold a celebration of
life event here at the Club. As everyone is aware, PYC was a very special
place for my father (for over 40 years!) and I think it is a fitting
location to celebrate his life with friends and family.

I have looked at the coming events on the club calendar and was hoping that
we might be able to arrange a time in the afternoon of October 5th or
October 12th (Saturday, 2pm?) for a few hours to host. I'd be more than
happy to chat about it at tonight's meeting but wanted to at least get it
out to everyone in advance to think about.
