vote at the special meeting on the 25th?  He has not received the invoice
to pay dues but would be willing to bring the check to the meeting.

Good News on the "Pier Project"

 

See the following update from T&B regarding the NHDES Wet Land Permit.  I am
ready to go!! Technically we can begin work on February 11, 2019.

The wetlands permit has been signed by the Town Clerk and will be mailed to
DES later today. The clock starts today for the 25 day waiting period,
meaning work can begin on Monday, February 11. Since this is a Permit by
Notification, there is no physical permit issued by DES. Instead, once the
application has been marked complete, the permit is valid. I'll be checking
on the status of the permit periodically, but if you would like, you can
check here: https://www4.des.state.nh.us/OneStop/ It's usually enough to
search by the "Site Town" field.

 

The final application as submitted to DES is linked below for your records.
I can also print you a hard copy if you would like.

Hi Jeremy,


An applicant is officially a  new member when he/she has paid the dues.  So, if the person you know would like to bring the check to the meeting, all is well.  Doyle will not be able to come, so I would like the check to be given to me, and I will make sure Doyle gets it.

Ordinarily I prefer to receive checks by mail but if he feels strongly about voting, I’ll defer and let it become a procedural determination. However, I did send out invoices to all 4 prospective new members on the 14th so they should  receive them by today and if they send a check by return mail to my Portsmouth PO box as specified on the invoice, I should receive it and have it deposited well in advance of the time of the meeting.
