I agree with Doyle sending 278 copies of the information is a large undertaking, and expensive. My I suggest we send the information electronically. If we elect to send the information via email , a notice should be sent announcing our plans. In the same message, indicate this is being done to reduce costs and provide as much information prior to the meeting. Also indicate there will be no paper copies at the meeting. We’ve never done this before. Some members might be upset we spent so much on the mailing. Just doing it the usual way is a fair amount of work. Also, YTD2018 would have to be through August while the one I will bring to the meeting will be through September with necessarily different numbers. I want NOTHING hidden. Thanks, Glenn On Wed, Sep 5, 2018 at 3:23 PM Carole Cartnick wrote: Just FYI. The reason I bring this up, is that the word is already out about our submitting an article requesting a $125 increase in dues. I believe we should provide all information that the BOD reviewed. The graphical will be great when Doyle explains what it all means. The Town of New Castle HDC approved our application for construction of the dumpster enclosure. The building permit will be issued today, we have one year to complete installation... I spoke to 125 Fence regarding purchase and installation. We are looking at approximately 6 weeks. Materials are 4+ weeks from the manufacture. An exact date will be provided once a 50% deposit and signed order is received. If we want the enclosure installed before Docks Out October 27th we need to act immediately. What is your pleasure? Depending on what we think might happen with the pricing, I'm of the mindset that pushing to next spring (and avoiding a winter of wear-and-tear) doesn't seem like a bad idea. No sense in my mind of rushing to get this thing completed just in time for it to sit idle for 6 months. If we can schedule the work to be done just following docks-in next April it would likely be squared away before there's even a boat on the dock. Additionally, it sounds like we've spent quite a bit this year on repairs/projects - is there an advantage budget-wise to moving this to 2019? -Scott On Fri, Sep 7, 2018 at 1:26 PM Wes Smith wrote: > Hi All, > > > > Update on the status of the Dumpster Enclosure. > > > > The Town of New Castle HDC approved our application for construction of > the dumpster enclosure.
