I did not know that Jerry has been getting $2000 bonuses! Can you give me a rundown as to the years he received such a bonus? I do know that in 2010 Jerry was offered a year end bonus providing he met specific performance criteria.

Jerry has been getting $2000 bonuses almost each year. One commodore did not want to do that. Anything we give him as appreciation should be in addition to his yearly bonus.

At the discretion of the Commodore, the Steward gets a bonus of up to $2000 in his last paycheck each year. (It has  been $2000 most years I have been Treasurer.) That could be augmented more easily and  probably be more appreciated than a gold watch, cruise, gift card, meal or other object.

Good Morning,

Many members have approached me asking that we do something more for the retirement of Jerry.  Having both he and his wife at an event, possibly providing them a cruise, in other words, something with a little more class than what we did at the employee appreciation night.  Please give this some thought as many feel that we should do a little more for Jerry to acknowledge his years of service to the club.
