[Board-2018] PYC Flood and Wind damage January 2018 to April 2018

Hi All,

 

The following is a list of Storm and Flood damage at PYC between January and
April 15, 2018. Damages were caused by flooding and or excessive winds. 

 

Key (F) Flooding, (W) Wind

 

(F)          Freezer in shed under foot of sea water - Replaced

(F)          Water Heater in utility room under foot of sea water - Rust
removed from burner and insulation dried. Water Heater living on borrowed
time. Recommend replacing with wall mount instant on unit.  Saving 30-40%
gas usage.

(F)          EPO switch right side of pier to dock house - conduit broken by
high tide.

(F)          Concrete between sea wall and shed (location propane Tank for
grills) damaged by flood - Needs to be replaced.

(F)          Shed N wall needs repair sea water entry point 12" of water in
shed needs repair to prevent further flooding.

(W)        Fence on Piscataqua Road require sections replaced - Damage
caused by high winds and tide March 3rd storm.

(W)        Wi-Fi Antenna blown down.

(W)        Club front -Siding peak of roof missing. 

(W)        Club east side club door - siding covering eves missing.

(W)        Club west side - front window (near porch) lower window cracked

(W)        Club west side - next to above window seal broken in upper
window.

(W)       Porch screen door - retaining chain broke door header and bent
chain.

 

Please advise other damages not listed.
