From lauriec15 at comcast.net Sat Apr 28 06:06:56 2018 From: lauriec15 at comcast.net (Laurie Clark) Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2018 08:06:56 -0400 Subject: [Board-2018] Steward Position In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: My position has always been to offer the job to Frieda before we start searching for someone else. Jerry should not be able to hold us hostage…..he’s given his letter and we need to honor that. I believe Frieda will take the job. No one trained Jerry…..or Sally for that matter. Frieda certainly needs little or no training. I totally agree with Pat…..hire from within and make sure Frieda knows she must be able to instruct the kids unlike Jerry who never wanted to…he always wanted to be their friends. I agree with Laurie and Pat! How I read it and correct me if I’m wrong but he (Jerry) is only going to leave if Frieda gets the job? That just sounds odd to me. If we have a letter on file that he is leaving then he can’t just switch it up. We would have to allow him to stay, not the other way around. I think Frieda will do an amazing job and does not need a season of mentoring... a few weeks and she’ll be just fine! The next meetings agenda will be only this issue for a start, and then if we have time we will do other stuff. Like I have said before, there is a lot of things swirling around this and I want to ensure that the prudent decision is made, whatever it is. We still have time to accomplish whatever we decide. Roy, great questions that we should make part of the discussion. Thanks again, Glenn great turnout at docks in...thank you Wes!!
