[Board-2017] BOD Agenda for August 10th

I won't be at the meeting because we will be on the cruise, by land route.


A couple of notes:


Maybe we should have Annie Grey give a value range for the old launch and then decide if you want to have her handle the sale? I did mention to Jack Farrell, Star Island, that we might be selling the launch but I didn't seem to get much interest. Hopefully we could sell it before we need to store it?


The Challengers Cup committee met with One-Sky last night and One-Sky has decided to cancel the Challenger's Cup. They are concerned about insurance and the risks. They would still like to do something with PYC and they brought up about having a dance and having PYC sponsor it.  We mentioned about maybe they look into having something at the Science Center because they have a tent, the displays and parking.  PYC could get some members to help and have the Rotary cook. The Rotary did the cooking at the Challengers Cup. One-Sky is going to look into that.
