I was always told that my guests could not use the parking lot when I rented it for functions.
Clearly something that is unclear

My two cents. I was told while doing Vice for two years that when the club was rented they had use of the parking lot. That was always my advice to the renters.
I believe the club was not rented last night but a member invited members to participate in a event. I could be wrong?

The rule is members parking only, however we have not enforced this. I have not heard of any serious problems or complaints. I assume the police were told by either the person renting the club or a staff member it was ok, It's a tough call. I think the member renting the club should have some use of the parking lot.II think the members parking applies more to day time ant PYC event parking.

All,
SO I went to the club tonight and there was a private party, and the lot was packed. I asked the police chief why there were non-members parked in the lot, and he told me that he was told it was OK for private parties.
I know of no rule that allows non-members to park in the lot, however I’m checking to see if this is true.
What is your understanding?
Dan
