I asked the police chief why there were non-members parked in the lot, and he told me that he was told it was OK for private parties. I know of no rule that allows non-members to park in the lot, however I'm checking to see if this is true. What is your understanding? The same rule should apply to all guests all the time, park on the street. See H&D rule 5 and 5C. I looked back to 2009 looking for the 2 car limit and couldn't find it written down in the House and Docks rules. I have not heard of any serious problems or complaints. I assume the police were told by either the person renting the club or a staff member it was ok, It's a tough call. I think the member renting the club should have some use of the parking lot.II think the members parking applies more to day time ant PYC event parking.
