All,

 

   I think it’s important to continue the progress we’ve made over the past several years.   I think we’ve succeeded in making the club more inclusive, particularly for those on the waiting list, and our focus on creating a casual environment which is attractive to younger members and potential members is essential to keeping the environment vibrant  and growing.    We do face some challenges, particularly our building and equipment, but I’m confident that we can overcome any issues we face in these areas.   

 

  I would be happy to serve another term as Commodore should you feel it’s appropriate, and I think we can all work together to continue the progress we’ve made over the past few years.

Very good point Wendy.  It does seem the board is up for grabs.  Why don't those of you that have been talking about the board share the reasons you want the position and how you will move PYC forward.  I bet we all would appreciate the info.

I have a few questions before the meeting.  I know we are to vote on the new flag officers but I have not seen or heard who is up for what position.  I know that the traditional "move up the ladder" isn't the "norm" so I feel we should hear from those interested and why before the meeting.

HI everyone,

Well, first of all welcome Art, Mike, Jeremy, and Tony.  It is going to be a Wonderful year working with this great new  board.

I just wanted to give you all a bit of information.  Our  first meeting is November 10, 2016, at One Sky located at 755 Banfield #3, Portsmouth, NH at 6:30pm.  Please let me know if you will NOT be attending...you may email or call me on my phone at 603-674-7471.  This is a pretty important meeting so you do not want to miss it or be late!

 

Another date to put on your calendar is December 8th...It is a board meeting along with our board and special guests pot luck at the Old Newington Town Hall.
