Sorry for the late response. Been a bit nutty this weekend.
Question 1. Up to age 30 which gives plenty of time to get established
but I also could see limiting it to 5 years
Question 2. (1) no change to current (2) If partners split then one
or the other gets the membership. That is decided during the process of
splitting and takes the burden off the club to make that decision. The
remaining partner can apply following the existing process. In truth,
the remaining partner will have made friends in the club and can
probably come anytime he/she wishes so the impact is negligible.
Question 3. The option 1 you suggested seems appropriate. I also think
that we should limit the number of reinstatements to a maximum of 2 per year
