Hi Dan - I apologize for the late notice but I can't make the meeting tonight. I have a management recruit in my office from out of town and need to spend some additional time with him to make the best decision.

Sorry, see you next time.

Where are the meetings for the winter being held?

All,

Attached is Jerry's update on the status of the DES situation. It
seems that it is under control although I think we need to verify all the items to insure the club has been protected.

Dan

Let me put all minds at ease.

I have been in touch with Spruce Wheelock and Suzanne Connelly, both of NHDES ever since the 10/23 inspection at the PYC.

All deficiencies have been addressed and corrected.

1) I requested and received a copy of our operating permit and its posted on the wall next to the alarm panel.

2) I am attending an all day training class in Concord on 11/18 in order to be re certified as the A and B Operator of the PYC underground storage tanks.

3) The fuel fills in the parking lot had water in their overflow area.
These spill containment areas worked as they are supposed to and I have drained and wiped them clean to the satisfaction of Mr. Wheelock.

4) Any and all water that collected in the fuel sumps have been drained by me and our service provider, DirtWorks. A red light on the panel turned back to green upon cleaning of same. Dirtworks sent their invoice to me indicating their draining of said interstitial space which I forwarded to Spruce to show that it had been done.

5) Our very old fuel dispenser was indicated as deficient due to "the test connector being above the shear plane of the crash valve ". If our dispenser was at a local gas station and was struck by a car there would be an issue.
The same doesn't seem to apply to its location on the PYC fuel dock. Dave Drapeau of Dirtworks said this issue will be addressed in the Spring as we are now closed. I am waiting to hear from DES tomorrow to see if this is satisfactory. Dave believes that it is. I will advise you.

6) The Visual Monthly Inspection Reports that I fill out as the facility operator were in my office. Spruce asked me to bring them with me to the
11/18 training.

* Dan, I won't be able to attend the board meeting as I have another engagement. I will send you another email before then when I hear from Spruce Wheelock tomorrow.

On an additional note, our fuel hoses and reels need to be replaced before the 2016 season. I will research from where they can be purchased at the lowest price. Approximate cost is $2000

To summarize, our permit to operate is up to date and on the wall. All deficiencies have been addressed and save for one, have been corrected.

Jerry
