Being one of the "new folks"...  A few questions / observations.

First - since it's been about 14 years or so, could I get a current copy of
the general "...you're on the waiting list..." letter?

>From reading the 2015 Constitution & By-Laws, I do not see any prohibition
for anyone whose application has been accepted and is now on the Waiting
List from being a Guest of any other non-Sponsor members. Probably the only
time I would see that is for events where there is a limited attendance
capacity and where we would want to first afford non-waiting list
prospective members to attend with their Sponsor(s) in order to fulfill the
requirements of Article IX Section 5.  Does anyone have any historical
"practices" (vs. defined C&BL language) regarding what would appear to me
to be an onerous constraint?

Article IV Section 1 is (to me) a bit fuzzy on the status of Guests,
considering that there is no clear definition of "Guest" in the C&BLs.
Something to think about this year regarding possible C&BL tweaks.
