Vice Commodore Report 12/13/12
 
I first want to thank Greg Gebow,Andy Courteau and George Almgren for their work on the dock rails, great job! 
 
I have started laying out the workfor the Whaleback wall and will hopefully be able to get all of the suppliesfor the club store in a secure and clean closet in the wall as well as organizehow that looks. I should be starting some demo work in the next couple of weeks.
 
I am going to be working with Jerryto place and ad for dock help a little early so we will not be rushing aroundlike last year, but with not as many being needed we should be in good shape.
 
I have been researching the dingydock expansion and it has been recommended to me that we look into some form ofan anchor system with a heavy chain rode because of our ledge being so close tothe service. This will also allow us not to need to file a dredge and fillpermit that no matter what the size of the project has to be filed at a cost ofapproximately $2000. 
 
I will try to get a work partytogether in the next few weeks to start taking the locker doors down andsetting up a sanding area so that when the warmer weather comes we will beready to start the finishing of the doors.
 
All in all a slow month!
