Greetings,

For your info, one & all. According to Constitution Art. XII – Dues and Fees: (final sentence para. 1) “The application fee is to be refunded only if application is rejected”. The Application Form has a similar statement on page 2. 
Considering the above , at the risk of seeming greedy, I believe Grinnell is not entitled to refund. I consulted with Judge Nadeau yesterday, he is of like opinion. I have not as yet replied to Grinnell.

I also feel badly about the More’s decision, I worked with Grinnell at a couple of work parties etc. and he seemed like a real solid citizen. Besides he has a lovely Lyman-Morse Seguin-44!!

Input of thoughts please.

Hi Greg,

I believe my wife and I are on the wait list for membership at PYC.  We have recently purchased waterfront property with moorings etc. in Maine.  Between that and cruising we are not likely to spend enough time in Portsmouth during the summer to get much value from a PYC membership.  Therefore, it probably makes sense for us to remove ourselves from the wait list.  I believe I provided a deposit with the application and I'm guessing this well be returned?

Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything else I need to do.
