Time to think about bailing on these moorings.  Hopefully we can get a
refund on the permits and we can either sell the tackle or move them over to
the club area for future use. 
 
I do not think the proposed location lends itself to a good rental
probability.  Our analysis shows that we are not making much money if any
when you plug all the cost. (Maintenance, permit fees, launch cost, etc.).
 
I do realize that is is nice to be able to accommodate cruising boats but at
what cost to us?

Good Afternoon,

 

I spoke with the Army Corps. on May 3rd regarding your moorings and the
letter from your attorney. At this point the only viable option is for the
moorings to be relocated to the area in front of the Seavey Island sound
basin.  Please contact me if you have any questions regarding my discussion
with the Army Corps. and to discuss the date and relocation of the moorings.
